AS OF APRIL 1st,  2014
WE'VE RECYCLED

28,778 BATTERIES

 (give or take a few)

WEIGHING

over 2312 POUNDS

THAT'S RIGHT,

 KEEP IT GOING!

ALSO PLEASE RECYCLE THE CFL BULBS - CONTAINS MERCURY

BRING THEM TO THE ADMIN LOBBY WITH YOUR BATTERIES,

BUT PLEASE PUT THEM IN A SEALED PLASTIC BAG.

(because if they break, they can be dangerous to handle)

Contrary to advertising, CFL bulbs are really not safe to handle and are extremely fragile

So think about buying the newer LED bulbs that are very safe PLUS they last longer than CFL.

Yes, the LED bulbs are more expensive but SAFER and they also use less power per watt.

If you still have some older incandescent type bulbs, then continue to use them for a couple of reasons.

1. You already have paid for them.

2. They are the cheapest bulb to buy.

3. No bad chemicals if they break

4. Can dispose in ordinary garbage.

THINK GREEN!
